Lengthy data exports, their products do all of this for us.Ĭapstorm’s tools provide us a repeatable method to extract, transform and load data into Slow way which involved manipulating multiple files, keeping track of record relationships and With theĬombination of both CopyStorm and CopyStorm/Restore we can now migrate our client’s dataįaster, with less user intervention and with more accuracy. By collectively measuring impact and reporting out as a sector, the non-profit lowered the cost of measurement and learning for users.Ĭapstorm’s products have allowed Zennify to streamline our data migration process. Tableau data is shared with partners and with the public, and the data allows each organization to measure their impact for affordable and equitable housing, both on a sector by sector basis and on a national scale. HomeKeeper maintains a national data hub for over 45 of its participating organizations, including community land trusts, local housing programs, and Habitat for Humanity affiliates. This results in a set-it-and-forget-it integration, generating near real-time data in Tableau. The AWS database is automatically updated as Salesforce changes, with new objects or fields integrated into the database within minutes of the live Salesforce org. The organization needs to be able to move large volumes of data from the administrative app to Tableau, where dashboards are published both for participating programs and for the public.ĬapStorm’s Enable application incrementally replicates the organization’s Salesforce data, metadata, and structure to a SQLServer database hosted in AWS for direct Tableau integration. The app is used by over 100 organizations with data rolling up to a core administrative app maintained by the non-profit in order to provide national data insights and trend information. Grounded Solutions Network publishes the HomeKeeper app on the Salesforce appexchange, designed to simplify affordable homeownership and housing counseling programs. This granular data selection capability has been very useful for our regional rollouts of Salesforce and has allowed us to use smaller and less expensive Development sandboxes (200 MB) for training and UAT/OAT testing. The application makes it very easy to specify exactly what data you wish to restore and automatically builds the required data dependencies. We have also used the application to load environments with specific components and specific data based on geographical regions. We can easily mask sensitive data which we have done when building training and user acceptance test environments. Using CopyStorm/Restore has given us the ability to quickly build Sandboxes for use with our multiple ongoing projects. This has helped us get a better understanding of the back end data and its interrelationships. We then can see exactly what data is required for that functionality to work. We have also been able to create backups of environments with specific Salesforce components enabled. This has saved our data analyst many hours in relation to building and populating our product catalog data for use with the CPQ component of Salesforce. This gives us the advantage of easy accessibility to check/review the data. CopyStorm allowed us to back the data up to a SQL Server database. Both products have been working extremely well and have simplified many of our processes.įor CopyStorm we wanted a product that would allow us an onsite backup of our Salesforce data.
